Pokémon Go: Limited Research Day Guide For Spring Into Spring Event
The Spring Into Spring event is happening in Pokémon Go with its own Egg-citing Spring surprise. It will feature a Limited Research day where trainers will be able to complete Field Research Tasks to encounter Pokémon. While Spring is in the air, the Spring Into Spring event adds a handful of new Pokémon, including the legendary Pokémon Tapu Bulu. It will appear in Five-Star Raid Battles for trainers to defeat and capture. Although the Spring Into Spring event will take place from Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to Monday, April 18, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Limited Research day will only be available for three hours.
The Egg-citing Spring Surprise Limited Research Day will occur on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. During this time period, trainers will be able to collect event-exclusive Field Research Tasks that reward trainers with an Exeggcute encounter. Exeggcute is a Grass and Psychic-type Pokémon that has the chance to appear Shiny during this event. It's important to mention that the odds of finding a Shiny Pokémon are still incredibly rare. There is a 1 in 500 chance for Shiny Exeggcute to appear.

During the Egg-citing Spring Surprise, trainers can evolve their Exeggcute into Alolan Exeggcutor, transforming the Grass/Psychic-type into a Grass/Dragon. It will learn the Charged Attack Draco Meteor, a Dragon-type attack that does 150 power for trainer battles, gyms, and raids. Similar to Community Day, this bonus will only be active during this event. With Draco Meteor being one of the best Dragon-type moves in the game, it can turn Alolan Exeggcutor into a real monster.
