Motorola’s next foldable Razr smartphone has leaked in an alleged hands-on image, and this one shows a significant camera upgrade alongside a fresh design. The first-gen Motorola Razr, and its 5G-ready successor, didn’t set a precedent for raw firepower or overall value, especially for that handsome price tag. For example, the Moto Razr 5G offered a strictly mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC and a relatively small 2,800mAh battery.
The company focused more on the form factor, which was a sweet callback to the original Razr flip phones. And it worked to a certain extent. But aesthetics and nostalgia can only go so far, especially when the price tag is north of $1,200. For a healthy $300 lower, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 offered a much better package with flagship tier specs, a more sturdy build and some neat colors to pick from.

But it appears that Motorola is trying to fix some of those shortcomings, especially in the camera department. Leakster Evan Blass (via 91Mobiles) has shared a couple of live images allegedly depicting the third-gen Motorola Razr with two rear cameras. The primary snapper, positioned neatly within a pill-shaped cutout, reportedly uses a 50-megapixel sensor paired with an f/1.8 lens. It sits alongside a 13-megapixel sensor that is said to handle the ultrawide photography duties. Since it's a flip device, users can also use both cameras for selfies while the cover display below acts as a viewfinder. In comparison, the previous Motorola Razr only had a single 48-megapixel camera at the back that produced pixel-binned 12-megapixel pictures by default.
