Another wave of games is headed to Xbox Game Pass this month, and a good number of them hit today. The back-half of May has some pretty interesting offerings; not as many big AAA hits, but some indie gems that are very worth your time.
Leading the charge is Jurassic World Evolution 2, the sequel to Frontier’s original dino-park management sim. It’s got a new campaign and, of course, plenty of new dinosaurs to keep in their pens. You’re going to keep them in their pens, right?
The indies are especially out in full force for May, though. Sam Barlow’s FMV text-search mystery Her Story joins the PC Game Pass lineup. Serene witch game Little Witch in the Woods arrives day-one to Game Preview on both console and PC Game Pass, if you want to explore the woods and live that daily witch life.
Umurangi Generation is coming to cloud, console, and PC on Game Pass, and is frankly an absolute must-play. Its mix of Pokemon Snap-style camera gameplay and incredible storytelling is well worth your time. Later this month, the PC smash-hit Vampire Survivors also brings idle demon-slaying onto the PC Game Pass selection. Plus, there are several day-one launches, like indie strategy game Floppy Knights and the full launch of Hardspace: Shipbreakers.
