Fans excited for a third installment to the FPS series that put developer Respawn Entertainment on the map have found new hope that Titanfall 3 could be coming soon. The firstTitanfall game was a multiplayer-only FPS that was released in 2014. In it, players were introduced to the Titanfall universe, filled with two warring factions who battle across different locations throughout space with giant mechs known as Titans. Players control the enhanced humans, known as Pilots, who drive them. A sequel was developed that not only provided another great multiplayer experience but also treated fans to one of the most enjoyable FPS campaigns they had seen in a long time.
Unfortunately, Titanfall 2 was met with disappointing sales numbers when it was first released. That didn't stop the game from impressing almost everyone who gave it a shot, resulting in an incredibly dedicated Titanfall player-base. Titanfall 2 gathered an impressive number of players while also setting new concurrent player records years after its release. Respawn has since released the incredibly successful battle royale Apex Legends, which also takes place in the established Titanfall universe. However, fans still desire a new Titanfall title to provide a compelling single-player campaign and more of the brutal Titan-centric combat that made the first two games stand out.
