For the first time in Pokémon GO, trainers may be fortunate enough to get their hands on a Shiny Cherubi during the Sustainability Week 2022 event in the game. Sustainability Week will begin on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. and run until Monday, April 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. There will be a number of ways that players can encounter Shiny Cherubi, and it may be easier than finding one in the mainline series because of how much Pokémon GO Shiny rates are different.
Shiny rates in Pokémon GO are significantly higher than those of the mainline series because there are fewer tools available that would help boost the odds of finding one. Unless a Pokémon's spawn rate is boosted by an event of any kind, there is a 1 in 500 chance of finding a Shiny variation in Pokémon GO. While there isn't anything indicating that Shiny Cherubi's spawn rate is boosted, the Pokémon will appear more frequently overall throughout Sustainability Week. With Cherubi's increased spawn rate, players will be able to improve their CP with it to find a Shiny form.

Trainers that are looking to increase the amount of Cherubi candies they receive from catching one will also want to make sure they're stocked up on Pinap and Silver Pinap Berries.
