An exciting update has announced Pokémon GO will add new forms from the ancient Hisui region in its newest event, including the Hisuian variants of Braviary and Growlithe. Developer Niantic has hosted several special events within its blockbuster mobile-based monster-collecting title over the years, with the most recent round of promotions being centered around the tropical Alola region from Pokémon Sun and Moon. Hisui contains many regional forms of existing Pokémon that were seemingly lost to time, including a more wooden Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode that were brought into Pokémon GO back in February. Now, Pokémon GO is exploring the feudal region more closely as part of its new Hisuian Discoveries event, which is set to begin later this week and last until the beginning of August.
