The Pokemon franchise is one of the biggest monster-collecting properties in the world, featuring around 900 different pocket monsters for players to capture and interact with. Many fans, unsatisfied with just collecting Pokemon in-game, choose to incorporate these creatures into their daily lives as well. One Pokemon fan is taking advantage of this craving for Pokemon-themed items to create custom Wooper-themed Xbox controllers.
Wooper is a Water/Ground-type Pokemon introduced in the Gen 2 Pokemon games as an inhabitant of the Johto region. It has no arms and walks on two stubby legs, but appears to be a primarily aquatic creature. A pair of purple, gill-like protrusions on either side of its oval face give it a slight resemblance to an axolotl salamander.

Redditor cesar0900 recently shared photos of a custom Xbox Series X controller modeled after Wooper and its evolution Quagsire. The controller features a solid deep blue background that appears to be meant to evoke the feeling of being underwater. A pattern of swimming Woopers and paddling Quagsires is printed on top, creating the illusion that the Pokemon are swimming over the controller's surface. The Woopers are shown printed in very light blue with touches of pinkish-purple for the gills, while the Quagsires are a slightly deeper blue on the body and dark blue for the fins.
This isn't the first time Pokemon fans have customized controllers, but it may be one of the most atmospheric.
