Mister Miracle and Silver Surfer both come from the genius mind of legendary comic book creator, Jack Kirby. Silver Surfer first appeared in Fantastic Four #48 by Marvel Comics. Norrin Radd sacrificed his life to protect his planet and everyone he loves from the Devourer of World's hunger, becoming the Herald of Galactus. The Silver Surfer became tortured by his decision to guide the planet-eating villain. Meanwhile, Mister Miracle, who first debuted in Mister Miracle #1 by DC Comics, grew up on Apokolips after his father, Highfather, traded sons with Darkseid to create peace between the god-ruled planets. Instead of being raised in the paradise New Genesis, the New God grew up in the fire pits of Apokolips, where he eventually escaped and became a hero named Mister Miracle.
