Every generation of Pokemon brings memorable additions to the menagerie of pocket monsters, and that will no doubt be the case with the ninth generation kicking off with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet this fall. Yet many of the original 151 pocket monsters remain popular to this day, like the sleepy giant Snorlax. One fan recently illustrated this by sharing their concept for a piece of Snorlax-themed merchandise so good it could easily be an actual product.
It may surprise some to know, but Pokemon currently reigns supreme as the highest-grossing media franchise in the world, beating out other popular mega-brands like Hello Kitty and Disney by a sizable margin. While much of that is of course due to its ever-popular video games, a huge chunk of that money comes from the massive line of licensed toys, clothes, and other pieces of merchandise based around the franchise’s hundreds of Pokemon.

Given its popularity, naturally there has been plenty of merchandise based on Snorlax released throughout the years, and the suitcase concept by Reddit user eokoeoko could definitely pass for one. Said concept is a 3D model of a rolling suitcase made to look like the giant Pokemon, with the main suitcase resembling its body and an accompanying smaller case serving as its head, complete with a pair of ears attached. In a thoughtful touch, a strap on the back of the head can be seen securing the smaller case to the main suitcase’s telescopic handle, allowing hypothetical travelers to keep their Snorlax intact while in transit.
