The newest Pokémon games are remakes of the 2006 original Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl games for the Nintendo DS. Both the originals and remakes are set in the Sinnoh region. Canalave City is home to the Canalave Gym with Steel-type Pokémon gym leader Byron. The player must defeat Byron in order to progress through the game's story and be the very best like no one ever was.
