Star Citizen kicks off another Intergalactic Aerospace Expo event today, with free flight for more than 130 vehicles, new reveals, an expanded show floor, and more to explore.
The virtual show is officially IAE 2953, and this edition features the chance to download and play Star Citizen for free during the event, which runs through November 30th. You'll also be able to test fly more than 130 ships, and take a look at a number of new vehicles unveiled on the virtual show floor. A new daily display of the latest vehicles, technology, and ships from the day will be revealed, before moving to a different hall the next day; remaining available throughout the event.
In order to get started,head to New Babbage, microTech. New tutorial missions for New Babbage, microTech have been added for the occasion, helping existing players with a refresher and new recruits to begin their journeys.
In addition to the ability to test fly all of those ships, checking out new additions on the show floor, there will be discounted starter packs available with full permanent access, including bundles with newly added vehicles. One of the core new additions is the Gatac Syulen, an alien-made vessel that’s available immediately. A number of new ships added to displays will become available to test out after they are revealed.
This year’s event will begin its finale activities on November 27th. Scheduled opportunities include fleet meetups, PvP and racing events for those itching for competition, and screenshot competitions.
