Pixar's Inside Out hit theaters back in 2015 where it focused on the personifications of human emotions piloting people's bodies around like giant mechs. At D23 Expo, a sequel has been announced--and while details are still scarce, we know that Amy Poehler will be making a return. The movie will be called Inside Out 2 and remains focused on Riley, the human girl from the first film, now a teenager. New emotions will reportedly also be introduced, but we don't have any casting information for them, nor do we have any indication of who might be returning in addition to Poehler.
The original story focused on Joy, voiced by Amy Poehler, Sadness, voiced by The Office's Phyllis Smith, learning that they alone couldn't maintain the entirety of any one person's wellbeing. They were joined by Bill Hader as Fear, Mindy Kaling as Disgust, and Lewis Black as Anger. Also, there was a deeply traumatic scene with an imaginary elephant-like man named Big Bong (Richard Kind). Trust us, it was a tear jerker.

Meanwhile, the upcoming live-action Little Mermaid released a new teaser.
D23 Expo will continue through the weekend, and we can expect to see more major announcements, reveals, and trailers dropping for Disney proper, Marvel, and Star Wars as the convention
