Persona 3 Reload was announced earlier this year, a complete remake of the original Persona 3 that launched back in 2006. Further details provided after the show revealed just what Atlus is planning to overhaul, along with the reveal that the original game's voice cast would not be returning. Since the original announcements have either featured no dialogue or have been in Japanese, we've not heard the new English voice cast to see how they compare to the original - until now that is.
Earlier today, a new gameplay trailer for Persona 3 Reload dropped via the official Xbox YouTube account. This trailer featured a bit more Shadow combat, but it also included several snippets of the game's characters chatting away, giving us our first look at the game's new English voice cast. The characters that feature in the trailer are Yukari, Junpei, Fuuka, Akihiko, and Mitsuru, meaning we've still yet to hear the new voices for Ken and Aigis.

For those that loved the original games, you might find the new voices a little odd. However, a couple of the characters do sound pretty much identical to their original counterparts, especially Yukari and Mitsuru. The biggest changes can definitely be heard in both Fuuka and Junpei's voices, the latter of which sounds a bit like Ryuji from Persona 5. They're still pretty good performances from what you can gather from these small snippets, but it'll probably take some getting used to since the two had fairly distinct voices in the original titles.
