Possibly the single biggest appeal of Genshin Impact is the many colorful characters that call the fantastical world of Teyvat home. The cast of Genshin Impact features a wide variety of gorgeous anime-inspired designs with strong personalities attached, and even the idle animations reflect who a character is. Now, two Genshin Impact players have teamed up to create a perfectly-time combination of idle animations that show Yae Miko hitting Ganyu on the head.
Yae Miko is a yokai priestess hailing from Inazuma, where she serves as the head shrine maiden of Grand Narukami Shrine and editor-in-chief of the Yae Publishing House. Ganyu is a half-qilin Adeptus who has acted as the secretary to the Liyue Qixing for thousands of years after signing a contract with Rex Lapis. Both of these characters balance a serious side with a more playful or scatterbrained side respectively.

Redditor Guarand0o took advantage of Yae Miko and Ganyu's idle animations to create a short video capturing the moment when playful yokai and dazed Adeptus literally collided. In the video, Ganyu stands in front of Yae Miko and begins to drift off to sleep. Even as Ganyu's eyes slide closed, Yae Miko raises her wooden wand, waves it around in a mystical fashion, and then bonks Ganyu on the head. The impact appears to cause Ganyu to wake up and flail around for a moment.
Although the idle animations appear to sync up perfectly, there is still one major flaw. In the moments before Yae Miko smacks Ganyu, she clearly waves her wand through Ganyu's head.
