Netflix's Ozark season 4, part 1, ended with two shocking deaths, and the series teased another death on the way in part 2. After the FBI makes a deal with Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) in Ozark season 4, it seems the Byrdes may finally get out of the cartel business for good. However, Special Agent Maya Miller (Jessica Frances Dukes) goes behind the Byrdes' backs and has Navarro arrested. Then, thanks to some fancy deal-making by Wendy (Laura Linney) and Marty (Jason Bateman), the FBI's deal gets transferred to Javi (Alfonso Herrera). Unfortunately, Javi kills Darlene (Lisa Emery) and Wyatt (Charlie Tahan) in the part 1 finale, and now Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner) is out for revenge.
A teaser for part 2 of Ozark season 4 has several clues about the story's future. Julia Garner's Ruth narrates the teaser, saying she's a "cursed Langmore" and staring at a gun that sits on her passenger seat. The trailer teases the show's primary villains, including shots of Omar Navarro in a prison cell and Navarro's nephew Javi confidently sitting free. The footage ominously concludes with text reading, "The end arrives sooner than you think." Netflix then reveals the part 2 release date, which is April 29, 2022.
