Smartphone cameras have evolved to the point that they can no longer be discounted and for all the right reasons. The upcoming OPPO Find X7 Ultra will go official on January 8 in China, and many people are waiting for the device. OPPO has just shared some information about the phone with us in the form of official camera samples, and I think this phone will usher smartphone photography into a new era.
The OPPO Find X7 Ultra uses the flagship Sony LYT-900 sensor, which is an improvement over the last flagship sensor that Sony made. However, these pictures that the company has shared have been taken by the 3x telephoto camera instead of the primary sensor. This only makes us wonder just how good the primary sensor is going to look.
I don't remember seeing images that look this good. Everything about these samples is absolutely on point, and if it weren't for the watermark on these images, you could easily fool anyone by showing them. However, the one thing that you should understand is that the OPPO Find X7 Ultra that took these photos was probably in the hands of a professional photographer, so your mileage may vary.
Still, we cannot discount the fact that the telephoto camera on the OPPO Find X7 Ultra is impressive. And looking at this, I am now thinking about how good the Sony LYT-900 is going to be, considering that it will be the primary sensor on the new phone.
