The Last Of Us Season 2 is set to begin filming over the next few days, and in preparation, the entire cast of the show and the show's production crew all recently met up in Canada. It seems as though to potentially celebrate the start of filming and to properly introduce the new faces playing characters such as Dina and Jesse, the crew went out to dinner, and took a lovely group picture to bookmark the occasion.

This picture was shared by the Instagram account for the restaurant the cast visited and includes everyone that made the first season of the show such a success. Director Craig Mazin is there, as are Bella Ramsey, Isabela Merced who will be playing Dina, Young Mazino who is playing Jesse, and some other people from the show's crew. There is one question on every fan's mind though, and that the whereabouts of Mr. Pascal himself.

Pedro Pascal obviously played Joel in the first season of The Last of Us, so you'd naturally expect him to be part of any celebration taking place to usher in Season 2. He's notably absent from the photo though, as is Kaitlyn Dever, who will be playing Abby, so let's hope they're not out somewhere method acting. If you know, you know.

If we have to be sensible, Pascal and Dever's absences are more than likely just because the two are just extremely busy. Pascal is probably juggling who knows how many projects at the moment, and given how little Joel actually features in The Last of Us Part 2, it's not exactly like he'll need to be there all the time like he was in the first season. Either that, or he just didn't fancy coming to dinner. You never know with that enigma of a man.
