The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a vibrant modding community that continues to innovate and create new content in the nearly seven-year-old game. With quality-of-life features, new outfits and visual changes, The Witcher 3’s mods have made the game continually relevant and increased its shelf life dramatically.
Among the many mods which improve The Witcher 3, however, are some which are utterly bewildering and, in fact, purposefully make the game more difficult. For example, as displayed in a video on Reddit, one such mod creates a myriad of Geralts to accompany the player on their journey across The Continent.
Witcher 3 Glitch Shows Roach Running on Two Legs
In the video, posted by user thepowerlies on The Witcher 3 subreddit, Geralt is seen running about the fields of Toussaint from the Blood and Wine expansion. Surrounding him, in perfect unison, are more than a dozen other Geralts running with him. The witcher’s intense sprint adds to the hilarity, looking as though they are about to besiege the city of Beauclair while some of the group get stuck in cypress trees.
If one didn’t know any better, one might assume that The Witcher’s School of the Wolf has a very literal meaning, training Geralt clones to run in a pack. As user switchmallgrab jests, “School of the Wolfpack” may be a more appropriate name. By this logic, the titular antagonistic Wild Hunt takes on a whole new meaning, as well.
Redditors rush to make reference to the games in the comments, like user _greenhunter3_ who jokes about Geralt’s often used line, “Wind’s howling,” echoing through the group.
