In a new development, users can now delete Google browser history on phone that is as short as the last 15 minutes. Google has rolled out a new feature for its Android app allowing users to delete Google search history for the last 15 minutes with ease. The feature was first spotted by former XDA Developers editor-in-chief Mishaal Rahmaan and later the tech giant itself confirmed the launch of ‘quick delete’ option on the Google app for Android. The feature is available on the updated Google android app. To access this feature, you’ll have to download the updated app. Users will just have to open Google’s Android app, tap on their profile picture, and search for the “Delete last 15 minutes” option. Upon tapping on the selected option, one can easily delete the most recent search history with a few taps.
Earlier it was available for only iOS, however, now it has been rolled out for Android as well. Moreover, deleting the last 15 minutes of Search history is not the only feature that Google android has provided to its users, it also automatically deletes all the search history of the user after three months, 18 months and after 36 months.
