UPS Shazam 2 Director Mocks Ridiculous DC Character Fan Theory
Shazam: Fury of the Godsdirector David F. Sandberg pokes fun at some of the ridiculous fan theories going around about Rachel Zegler's character. Sandberg returns after helming the first Shazam, which debuted in theaters back in 2019. The sequel will find young hero Billy Batson (Asher Angel and Zachary Levi) now more adjusted to his powers, much like his equally superpowered foster siblings. Beyond that, plot details get a bit fuzzy, which isn't too surprising since Shazam 2 won't debut until December. It was previously scheduled to premiere in June 2023, but a recent DCEU calendar change bumped it up to this year.
