There are several different decorations and structures available, allowing you to create the farm of your dreams. In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to place and move items. You will also be able to place items within your treehouse if there is enough room. First, let's take a look at how to place an object for the first time.
Placeable objects include buildings, decorations, machines, and field plots. All of these items can be placed on your farm by using it from your toolbar. For example, with a chicken coop placed in slot one, all you need to do is press '1' and you will be in placement mode.
When an object is red, it cannot be placed. This happens if there is not enough room, or if something is blocking the way. Additionally, you can rotate objects by pressing 'E'. This will turn the object 90 degrees.
Try not to place animal pens too close to other solid objects. Animals and items may get 'stuck', which makes them hard to get to.
To remove an object, hover over it and press 'R'. This will cause a message to appear, asking if you want to move it. If you confirm, the item will move and go into your inventory, granted you have enough space.
Selecting items can be a bit difficult if you have a lot of stuff close together, so we recommend turning on the crosshairs, which display a white dot in the center of the screen. To turn this on, head to the settings menu and then go to the graphics tab.
