Last fall when we were talking with No More Heroes creator Goichi "Suda51" Suda, he said there were "no plans" to bring No More Heroes 3 to consoles other than the Nintendo Switch. Today, we find out that plans have changed.
Publisher Xseed Games has announced that No More Heroes 3 will hit current-gen and last-gen consoles alongside PC later this year.

"Our favorite otaku assassin returns!" Xseed wrote. "Travis Touchdown has been forced out of retirement to defend not only Santa Destroy, but Earth itself! Bring on the beam katana and take on Travis' toughest challenge yet in #NoMoreHeroes3, coming this fall to PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC!"
Our review of No More Heroes 3 noted that the game was truly pushing the Nintendo Switch to its absolute limits, with slowdowns and poor frame rates when displaying the game’s overworld sections. Hopefully, these issues will be resolved when it arrives on the more powerful PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and especially the current-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Xseed’s announcement also seemed to indicate a physical release would be coming later this fall as well, with alternate cover art and soundtrack on compact disc. Stay tuned for more info.
