The House of the Dead: Remake has been in development by Forever Entertainment and Megapixel Studio as an attempt to reignite the classic arcade light gun series. It has now come to light that certain rumors about The House of the Dead Remake being ported to PS4 are officially confirmed, along with other platforms.
The announcement of an official House of the Dead Remake in April 2021 mentioned plans for release on the Nintendo Switch. Now, with the promise of it also being released on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Stadia, this ensures a wider audience will be able to play the modern take on a classic shooter.
The House of the Dead Remake Shows the Switch's Arcade Potential
The House of the Dead PS4 release rumor surfaced at the start of April when certain PS4 online servers were teasing an image hinting at the game's release. It was theorized that players on other platforms would be waiting several months just for a native release compared to the Switch counterpart, but less than a month later expectant fans have had their wishes granted.
