Klonoa Brings Classic Platforming to More Modern Platforms in New Remasters

Pac-Man will always be Bandai Namco’s most notable mascot, but it’s not the only friendly face in its catalog. Around the time of the original PlayStation, a bunny-like hero named Klonoa appeared in a pair of platformers that garnered a cult following. Those fans will be happy to hear that the upcoming  will contain remasters of and with added bonus features. The game will hit PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 8.

This will not be the first time that  has been rereleased, as Wii owners were able to pick up the game in 2008. However, this is the first time that both games will come together into one package and the first wide release across all modern platforms.

Players will be able to see the game at its default difficulty or scale back in a new easy mode that caters to modern sensibilities. The developers at Bandai Namco have also added more difficult modes for veteran fans, optional tutorials to get players up to speed, and a two-player co-op option.
