Nier: Automata is a decent size in terms of the explorable world. There are the City Ruins, Desert Zone, Amusement Park, Abandoned Factory, and Forest Zone as well as various settlements such as the Machine Village and Resistance Camp. The game has many side quests that can send the player from one end of the map to the other, and walking would make the game take much longer.
