Rapper Snoop Dogg is coming to Call Of Duty as a playable character according to supposedly leaked artwork.
After the likes of Rambo and Die Hard’s John McClane were added to Call Of Duty: Warzone, many fans hoped to see even more 80s action heroes appear in the future. Instead, they’re getting Snoop Dogg.
That’s according to Twitter user ZestyLeaks, who has regularly leaked Call Of Duty details. Recently, they shared purported artwork of how the rapper could look in-game. He can be seen wearing a large burgundy jacket and sunglasses.
ZestyLeaks doesn’t mention when Snoop Dogg is expected to be added to the game. For the time being, it can be assumed that his inclusion will be a part of season 2, which launches today.
The same leaker previously shared images and details for a few other new playable characters coming in season 2. One of them, Anna, has since been officially revealed by Activision.
Those images were also soon taken down due to ‘a report from the copyright holder,’ which basically confirmed their legitimacy. While the same hasn’t happened to the Snoop Dogg picture yet, ZestyLeak’s track record strongly suggests that their information is accurate.
While it seems odd for Snoop Dogg of all people to be added to a militaristic shooter, he is no stranger to making guest appearances in video games, having lent his likeness to Def Jam: Fight For NY and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
He’s even been a playable character in 2003’s open world action game True Crime: Streets Of LA and Madden NFL 20. He also has a history with Call Of Duty, making a cameo in 2013’s Call Of Duty: Ghosts as a DLC announcer for the multiplayer.
Call Of Duty: Warzone is suspected to keep receiving support even after the sequel releases later in the year.
