It looks like No Man's Sky is getting some more content soon, as a new update is spotted on the Steam database. This coincides with Sean Murray cryptically tweeting a single emoji, indicating that the next update will be one of the big ones that adds a bunch of new features.
The Steam update notes that there has been a change to No Man's Sky's internal branch, indicating that a new patch is on the way. As opposed to being a smaller hotfix, Murray's recent tweet leads many to believe that this will be a much bigger update and one that's coming soon, given the changes made on the backend.

Having launched all the way back in 2016, it's been supported longer than many games would have in the same circumstances, so it won't be too surprising to see Hello Games call it a day, and focus on its other titles.
As for when this update is ready to drop, we'll have to wait and see. Since Murray tweeted the Omega symbol over the weekend, some fans are adamant that it will drop this week. For the sake of everyone's hype levels, let's hope that it is this rumoured larger update and not just a minor hotfix. But given Murray's secrecy over it
