Nexon Celebrates Mabinogi's 15th Anniversary With Gifts, Challenges, and a Classic Music Track Remixed

Nexon is marking the 15th anniversary of a classic MMORPG, Mabinogi . The free to play fantasy MMO was released in North America on March 27, 2008. To celebrate, expect new quests, some giveaways, and more.

There are MMORPGs that last for a long time with an active enough community to continue supporting the games, and Mabinogi is the latest to hit that new milestone. Currently, the Starlight Festival returning eventis running, so it makes the land of Erinn a decorated place for the anniversary. Nexon has released a remix of one of the game’s original themes, “An Old Story from Grandma” to celebrate as well, adding some more nostalgia for long-timers.

Anniversary content has been added, from a series of 15th anniversary quests,”All Aboard the Friend-Ship 1-4”, to a login event. The login event, 15th Anniversary Hotdays offers opportunities to grab some gifts, including a coupon that will grant attribute bonuses, and batches of Tiny Starbright. Completing “All Aboard the Friend-Ship 1-4” opens up a different daily quest for lots of XP and more goodies.

The Achievement Quest,”Party Favors” is a daily quest with morerewards, and you can earn cosmic items from completing more objectives during the event period. These include a flying saucer and a homestead command outpost. 

There’s a special dungeon, the Stage of Trials. It might just be one room,  but it fits the 15th anniversary that there are 15 waves of enemies to defeat. Defeat them and you can earn a number of bonuses depending on how many rounds you can clear each time you play. this is repeatable up to three times every day, so you can take your chance. 

Most of the events and quests will reward Tiny Starbright, which is the currency to exchange for more rewards,
