The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie anime film will be getting an accompanying game adaptation, game developer MAGES. announced on Wednesday. The new game, The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie: Five Memories of My Time with You, will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The game will launch in Japan on June 2 in both standard and limited editions and feature 15 different endings. The limited edition of the game will come with a five-disc drama CD set. No releases outside of Japan have been announced yet.

Negi Haruba’s The Quintessential Quintuplets manga ran in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2017-2020, amassing 14 collected volumes throughout its run. The popular harem title has inspired two anime adaptations, two video games, and an upcoming anime movie. Kodansha announced a novel series back in January that will begin serialization in March.
A 12-episode anime adaptation animated by Tezuka Productions aired during the Winter 2019 season. The series was directed by Satoshi Kuwabara (Black Jack, Dagashi Kashi 2) and written by Keiichirō Ōchi (Hinamatsuri, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax!).
A second season, titled The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬,aired during the Winter 2021 season. The series was animated by Bibury Animation Studios, with Kaori (Shirobako, How to Keep a Mummy) directing and Ōchi returning as scriptwriter.
Bibury Animation Studio will animate the upcoming Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie, with Ōchi once again serving as screenwriter and Masato Jinbo directing. The film is slated to release on May 20, 2022 and will serve as the finale for the anime’s narrative.
