DC Comics has revealed the new Justice League team, which features many familiar faces. The Justice League is about to get five all-new members, following the shocking deaths of some of the greatest heroes in the universe in the upcoming Dark Crisis event. The new Justice League features five new legacy heroes, who are all forced to step into more prominent roles following the tragic deaths of DC's greatest heroes.
Dark Crisis is the next crossover event comic to DC Comics. The storyline will feature the shocking deaths of Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman — with the prelude story in Justice League #75 confirming a Green Lantern (seemingly John Stewart) and Aquaman will also die. In Justice League #75, the greatest DC heroes will take on the Dark Army and ultimately lose the battle, resulting in their shocking deaths. In a world without some of its greatest heroes, a new Justice League team will step up and seemingly take the mantle from their fallen friends — and DC has revealed which heroes made the cut.

On Tuesday, DC Comics revealed the new Justice League team which will take over following the demise of the original members. In a new cover for Dark Crisis #1 from Mahmud Asrar (as shared by CBR), the team is showcased. The roster consists of Jayce Fox's Batman, Jon Kent's Superman, Jo Mullein's Green Lantern, Jackson Hyde's Aquaman, and Yara Flor's Wonder Woman. The choices all make sense, as each of the heroes has recently gained bigger roles in the main DC Universe. Check out Asrar's cover below.
