A massive new addition to the LEGO Super Mario lineup brings Bowser to life using nearly 3,000 plastic bricks. The epic crossover transforms Nintendo's mustached mascot, and his lovable supporting cast, into electronic construction toys for all ages. The LEGO Super Mario electronic game was first revealed in March 2020, and since then the collaboration has expanded to include a wide range of additional characters and settings.
The world of Super Mario is incredibly iconic and colorful, allowing LEGO to create many different sets inspired by the Nintendo platformer franchise. The original LEGO Super Mario project turned the acrobatic plumber into an electronic figure, allowing fans to build physical courses and have Mario traverse them just like the game series. Subsequent sets have added even more characters and items to the mix, allowing players to build beach levels or have Mario ride a flying clown car. Back in 2020 an expansion set introduced a LEGO Super Mario version of Bowser, the series' iconic antagonist, but a much more intimidating version of the dragon tyrant has now been revealed by LEGO.

A Twitter post from Nintendo of America has revealed The Mighty Bowser, a massive LEGO Super Mario figure made up of 2,807 bricks. As detailed on the LEGO website, the extra large version of King Koopa is priced at $270 and comes complete with head and leg articulation alongside a fireball launching mechanism. LEGO has introduced brand-new pieces to recreate Bowser's iconic spikes, allowing the dragon to comet life in impressive detail.
