The new OnePlus Nord 2T 5G comes with an enhanced 1300 chipset from MediaTek, 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, 12 times more oxygen in the OxygenOS 12.1 and an upgraded 50 MP AI-enhanced triple camera. At the first look, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is sleek at 8.2 mm in thickness and 190 grams in weight. It is available in 2 colour options – Jade Fog and Gray Shadow.
On the inside, this is the first OnePlus phone powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset with an octa-core CPU with speeds up to 3 GHz. This chip offers an enhanced graphics experience, better app launch speeds, more efficient power consumption and better temperature control, a company statement reveals. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 is accompanied by up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage to ensure the delivery of OnePlus' signature fast and smooth experience.
When it comes to AI performance, you get up to 14 per cent faster download and installation speeds, HDR video capturing and improved AI image processing for low light shooting. It comes pre-loaded with OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12, which allows for better multitasking, improved power consumption, and smoother gallery viewing.
It has added features like OnePlus Shelf, Work Life Balance 2.0 and Dark Mode for a best-in-class user experience. It also supports Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth Hybrid 2.0 technology that not only allows for more consistent data speeds when connected to Wi-Fi networks and reduced levels of audio latency.
