Over 80 years, the Addams Family have become a pop culture staple with profound influence on American comics, cinema, and television, and seen as inspirations for the goth subculture and its fashion. Following the recent success of the animated movies, the Addamses are heading back to TV in an all-new series that focuses on Wednesday Addams, aptly called Wednesday.
Ahead of the first trailer premiering this Wednesday, we have our first look at the new Addams Family with Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones as matriarch Morticia, Jenna Ortega as the titular Wednesday, Luis Guzmán as lothario Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley.

For his first project in television, director Tim Burton has brought along his longtime collaborator (and four-time Oscar winner) Colleen Atwood as costume designer to give the Addams their all-too-familiar looks that don't reinvent the wheel but still feel very Burtonesque.
Not much more is known about any additional Addamses who might be joining the cast, but the show will focus on Wednesday's relationship with her mother and what it means to be an Addamses woman.
There is not an official release date for Wednesday announced, but expected to be around Halloween.
