Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season Four Reloaded added more new content to the current season, ranging from new weapons to exciting crossover events. Unfortunately, the mid-season update has brought some glitches along the way. The freeze glitch is one of the issues that has made a return which is kicking players out of matches. Now, another glitch has come to light in Warzone Pacific which is causing lag spikes when you ping.
Pinging has been an essential mechanic since the game launched. If you ping an enemy, it allows you to see their exact location for a few seconds. Also, you can ping loot, buy stations. You can ping across the whole map for your team to see.
A player shared a clip of the Warzone Pacific ping glitch in action on Reddit. The player brands the game as “borderline unplayable,” and the clip shows exactly why. As you can see, the squad is playing a Plunder match on the Caldera map. As the pings are going off, so too are the lag spikes. When the player comes face to face with an opponent, they don’t stand a chance as the game chugs.
It’s unknown if other members of the squad were experiencing the ping glitch. However, this is not the only player to encounter this issue. Fellow fans of the battle royale have been sharing their frustrating encounters with this glitch in the comments.
At the time of writing, Raven Software is yet to respond to the Warzone Pacific ping glitch. All we can do is hope that it will be resolved once and for all in a future update. Until then, you can keep track of the bugs and glitches the devs are working on by visiting the official Trello Board.
