Since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone, the meta continues to evolve. Season Four made no exception, as weapon buffs and nerfs have shaken up the battlefields of Caldera, Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep. Despite these patches balancing the weapon pool to make multiple weapons viable, there is always one that comes out on top. One weapon that kept a high pick rate in Warzone Pacific was the H4 Blixen, but another submachine gun has taken its place at the top.
The H4 Blixen has been the most dominant secondary weapon for a while. Fans were quick to recognize its power from the moment in launched back in May.
On August 8, a Warzone Pacific patch released and hit the H4 Blixen with a nerf. It slightly reduced the damage and fixed a bug that made your movement speed with a certain attachment faster than intended. It appears that the recent nerf changed enough about the H4 Blixen for it to be overtaken in the rankings. According to data on WZRanked, the H4 Blixen is still strong, but a change has clearly occurred. The Vanguard Armaguerra 43 is now listed as the most popular submachine gun in the battle royale.
At the time of writing, the pick rate of the Armaguerra 43 in Warzone Pacific is 8.07, compared to the 6.44 pick rate of the H4 Blixen. However, the average K/D ratio of the H4 Blixen currently stands at a slightly higher number than the Armaguerra 43.
Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons continue to top the leaderboard as the most picked weapons. Although Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons don’t seem to stand a chance at topping the meta, who knows what the future of the Warzone Pacific meta could hold.
