We're still not sure how Netflix is going to render Monkey D. Luffy's rubbery arms and legs in live-action, but the streamer is full sails ahead for its adaptation of the One Piece anime. Now, the studio has announced six new cast members, Deadline reports.
New cast members include Morgan Davies (Evil Dead, Evil Dead Rise), Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Aidan Scott (Action Point), Jeff Ward (Hacks), McKinley Belcher III (Marriage Story), and Vincent Regan (300).
The 1000-chapter manga and 1000-episode anime One Piece follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew of Straw Hat pirates as they search for the treasure called One Piece. Netflix's series comes with a ten-episode order.
Here's the casting we know so far:
Steven Maeda and Matt Owens will write and act as showrunners on One Piece, producing alongside Tomorrow Studios (Cowboy Bebop, Snowpiercer). Netflix and has not yet set a release date for the live-action adaptation of One Piece.
