In April 2022, Netflix is bringing new (but very different) comedies from Richard Linklater and Judd Apatow, a new season of a popular teen drama, season 2 of a comedy-drama TV series, the final batch of episodes of one of the platform’s most successful TV shows, and a lot of documentaries. The coronavirus pandemic continues, and while cinemas all over the world are still open and working, streaming platforms haven’t lost any force. Various studios continue to send their movies directly to streaming, which has helped these platforms maintain their popularity, and many of them continue to produce original content. Such is the case of Netflix, which keeps adding new licensed and original content every month for all ages and tastes.
March saw the addition of the docuseries Worst Roommate Ever, The Andy Warhol Diaries, and Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives, the action movies Against The Ice, The Adam Project, and Black Crab, the thriller Windfall, and the final season of The Last Kingdom, Big Mouth’s spinoff series Human Resources, and season 2 of Bridgerton. On the licensed content front, April will see the arrival of movies like A Cinderella Story, Argo, the Blade trilogy, Full Metal Jacket, Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Nightcrawler, and many, many more.
