Baz Luhrmann’s long-awaited musical biopic of the «King of Rock and Roll» is finally set for a June 24th release. Playing opposite Austin Butler’s portrayal of Elvis Presley, Tom Hanks will bring to life the singer's controversial manager, Colonel Tom Parker. Filmed in Australia in early 2020, the production shoot of Elvis is when Hanks contracted COVID-19. The movie will mark his first screen appearance since his unexpected cameo in the TV series 1883 in December 2021.
