In My Time at Sandrock, there are four items needed to make the Crane. One of these items is something called Thick Rope, and players will need several to finish this early-game commission.
After creating the Recycler in My Time at Sandrock, players will be called into Yan's office for «an emergency.» Rocky needs each of the two new builders to make one Crane Lift each. This is one of the first couple of quests in the game, and it is called «Picking Up the Slack.» Picking up the quest gives the blueprints for the Crane automatically. The recipe is as follows:

But the Thick Rope requires a recipe that players won't automatically get.
In order to get the recipe for the Thick Rope in this sequel to My Time at Portia, head to the Commerce Guild where Yan works. When entering the door, look to the right; on the right side of Yan's desk will be a cash register. Interact with the register and look for the Thick Rope blueprints. It will cost 18 gols.
