Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 Pro might ditch one key feature that differentiates Galaxy Watches from their main competitors. Expected to be announced later this year, the Galaxy Watch 5 will be an upgrade over last year's Galaxy Watch 4, which marked Samsung's return to Wear OS after ditching it several years earlier in favor of Tizen. The upcoming smartwatch is expected to bring some cool new features to the table, but if the latest information is anything to go by, it might also get rid of one critical feature found in its predecessor.
Several leaks over the past few months have revealed some exciting details about the upcoming watch. First off, Samsung's Galaxy Watch 5-series could include a 'Pro' model with a massive battery, which could fix one of the only complaints about the Galaxy Watch 4 — its less-than-stellar battery life. Reports also suggest that the company will drop the 'Classic' variant from the Galaxy Watch 5 lineup. There's also uncertainty over whether the device will ship with body temperature measurement, thanks to conflicting reports in the media over the past few months.
