Ashley Williams' voice actress in the Mass Effect trilogy, Kimberly Brooks, says she would love to return in future games but knows nothing of what BioWare and Electronic Arts has in store for the series. BioWare unveiled a fourth mainline Mass Effect entry in late 2020, news that was soon followed by a teaser trailer shown during The Game Awards in December. To the delight of many a fan, said teaser video hinted at the return of Liara T'Soni, which suggests the franchise's next phase may revisit the original trilogy.
BioWare and EA have revealed little else about the project since then. In celebrating N7 Day 2021, the studio shared a cryptic Mass Effect poster, depicting four unknown characters exiting a ship and entering what appears to be a massive crater. The recent release of a lithograph for the poster in question offered more insight before its listing on the BioWare Gear Store received an update. According to the original product description, the Mass Effect Mysteries from the Future lithograph featured an unnamed Krogan leading a four-member crew. Whether or not that crew includes a few fan-favorite heroes presently remains unknown.

Speaking to Screen Rant about her roles in the DC Universe, voice actress Kimberly Brooks addressed whether she will reprise the part of Ashley Williams in the new Mass Effect installment. Brooks expressed an interest in revisiting the space opera but said she has "no information" on what the next steps will entail, especially since new producers may want to carve their own path in terms of the franchise's future.
