Amazon is giving away a ton of games for Prime Gaming members to celebrate Prime Day, including Mass Effect Legendary Edition and several classic Star Wars games. Amazon has been giving away free games and in-game loot every month for several years now as part of its Prime Gaming subscription service. Last month, the company teamed up with Niantic to give free Pokémon GO Poké Balls & Stardust to members. It also gave away Dead Space 2 and The Curse of Monkey Island, among several other titles, as its free games for May.
It’s been only a little bit over a year since Mass Effect Legendary Edition was released. The remastered compilation of the series’ original trilogy, which also included their respective DLC, was made available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 14, 2021. The enhancements that developer BioWare introduced with the remasters led to the collection being received positively by critics, especially when it came to the original Mass Effect, which received the most improvements. Earlier this year, more people were given the opportunity to try out the compilation when ME Legendary Edition was added to EA Play.

In a new blog post, Amazon announced that it’s giving away over 30 games to Prime Gaming members as part of its Prime Day celebrations, which is happening on July 12 to 13, 2022. Leading the pack of games are Mass Effect Legendary Edition, GRID Legends, Need for Speed Heat, and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
