Elon Musk Starts Twitter Argument With Video Game Website, Gets Humiliated
It's probably a good general rule to never try to argue with someone wittier than you, and there aren't many people in the games industry wittier than the folks over at Hard Drive. In case you've never heard of Hard Drive, it's a satirical video game website that regularly pokes fun at the industry with well-written and humorous articles about imagined scenarios. Think The Onion, but for video games.
Tesla CEO and soon-to-be Twitter owner Elon Musk went toe-to-toe with Hard Drive recently (thanks Kotaku), after the latter accused Musk of stealing articles and cropping out bylines to make jokes on his own Twitter account. Instead of doing the sensible thing and crediting Hard Drive for the article, Musk instead decides to double down, claiming the article is a "6/10 meme" and that Hard Drive should "step down from that high horse!"

Hard Drive, being the site that it is, quickly shares another article for Musk to judge titled "Elon Musk Admits He Wants to Travel to Mars Because No One Hates Him There Yet." This response very quickly ended up ratioing the billionaire, but Musk was not amused, claiming the article is "less funny than SNL on a bad day." Hard Drive then responded with the killing blow, arguing "well you're the expert on SNL's bad days" and shared an image of Musk's infamous appearance on SNL in which he dresses up as Wario.
As you can imagine, this resulted in yet another ratio, this time even bigger than the one before. Instead of responding, Musk decided to simply delete the initial tweet and retreat, seemingly accepting that he'd been thoroughly humiliated not once, but twice.
