A new animated trailer was released by the Shonen Jump Youtube channel to commemorate the release of volume 34 of My Hero Academia, and it's one of the best tributes to the pro heroes of the manga that fans will ever see.
My Hero Academia is set in a world where superpowers, called «quirks», are common among the population. A small percentage of people decide to use their powers to help others and fight crime: professional heroes. The manga's story focused on the young trainee heroes attending U.A. High Academy, but the charismatic adult heroes are also an important part of the success of this beloved series. My Hero Academia's Volume 34 has been released in Japan at the beginning of May 2022, and it focuses on the epic clash between America's no. 1 hero, Star and Stripe, and the vicious villain Shigaraki Tomura, which serves as a prelude to the manga's final arc. Shueisha, the publisher of Weekly Shonen Jump, has made a habit in recent years of producing short animated videos based on the illustrations from its most popular manga as a way of promoting them. The video for volume 33 of My Hero Academia focused on Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and his time spent as a vigilante, while the most recent one takes a different approach.
