A lot of gamers are currently enjoying MultiVersus. The platform fighter combines just enough wacky characters and combat with a competitive edge that keeps players coming back. However, as more people join the MultiVersus open beta, gamers are discovering certain characters that appear to be stronger than others. Even in the game's closed alpha phase, people were having problems with Taz's tornado move. Now, two characters have been outlined by a lot of players as needing serious changes.
At the moment, the two most frustrating characters for a lot of MultiVersus players are Finn and Bugs Bunny. Bugs Bunny was the first to be marked by the internet's fury, as his moves were almost instantly recognized as being largely overpowered. The hate for Adventure Time's Finn came later, as players began to realize how large his hitboxes were and how moves like his backpack swing took priority over a lot of other characters' attacks. Many have been demanding changes to Bugs Bunny and Finn over the few weeks since the MultiVersus beta launched. Now, Game Director Tony Huynh has gone into more detail about when these changes can be expected.

The topic of nerfs in MultiVersus came up after Huynh tweeted about an online-only update that fixed certain bugs around the moves of Tom and Jerry and Jake the Dog. One fan followed Huynh's tweet by asking when a nerf for Finn will be on the way. Hyunh responded that the team working on MultiVersus is planning to tweak Finn, but that these changes will come in phases, as Player First Games is taking a wider look at the hitbox and hurtbox systems in the game as a whole.
