MultiVersus Founders Pack Hints At 19 New Playable Characters
A MultiVersus beta item called the Founder's Pack suggests that the crossover fighting game will receive at least 19 new playable characters after launch. The Warner Bros. platform brawler will bring together iconic characters from various properties like DC Comics,Game of Thrones, Loony Tunes, Steven Universe and more. A recent MultiVersus character and stage leak suggests that the title's crossover lineup will be dramatically expanded post-launch, and the Founder's Pack is another strong indicator of the game's future.
While it appears similar to other crossover fighting games like Super Smash Bros. and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, there are key differences that set MultiVersus apart from its peers. The Warner Bros. title will include entertainment icons from various properties, and many will be voiced by iconic performers known for portraying them prior to the game. MultiVersus will also be a free-to-play live-service title, meaning that developer Player First Games will continue releasing new characters and stages long after the title's upcoming launch. As reported by Video Games Chronicle, an item available in the MultiVersus beta hints that at least 19 new playable characters will be added to the game after release. The crossover fighting game lets players purchase a Premium Founder's Pack, which contains 30 Character Tokens used to unlock new characters.
