MultiVersus: Black Adam and Stripe from Gremlins Seemingly Confirmed
A new MultiVersus advert hints at two new additions – Black Adam and Stripe from Gremlins.
The advert, which has been shared across social media, shows off some new artwork for the hit online platform fighter, with DC’s Black Adam and the iconic Stripe from Gremlins appearing as part of the game’s line-up.
To date, neither of these characters has been confirmed by MultiVersus developers.

A recently leaked roster of upcoming characters mentioned both Black Adam and Stripe, which now gives a certain legitimacy to the rest of the list. Black Adam is about to make his big screen debut in the upcoming solo film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the titular DC antihero.
Meanwhile, Stripe was the main antagonist from the first Gremlins movie – originally a cuddly mogwai who was spawned from Gizmo after the creature was accidentally splashed with water. After eating food after midnight, Stripe and his band of murderous mogwai turn into Gremlins. There’s no sign of Gizmo in the ad, but he was mentioned in the leaked roster.
Black Adam and Stripe are just the latest additions to MultiVersus, which officially launches its first season today with the addition of Morty to the line-up coming later this week. After the season was delayed, it looks as though MultiVersus will be drip-feeding new content throughout the season, so we could see Black Adam and Stripe appear in the coming weeks.
