Moto G22 is finally here! Kickstarting Motorola’s next-gen “22” series phones, the Moto G22 is the most affordable G series device in India at the moment. As with most Motorola devices, the Moto G22 is available in only a single storage variant, starting at a price of Rs. 10,999. The phone is available in Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue and Mint Green colour variants. As part of the launch offer, customers can avail the bank offers and grab the phone at an effective price of just Rs. 9,999 on Flipkart between 13th – 14th April.
The Motorola G22 features a 6.5-inch HD LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Very few phones In the price segment offer a 90Hz refresh rate display and it is good to see the Moto G22 offering the same along with a very few smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy M12 and Galaxy F12 offer. The smartphone also comes with a punch hole camera cut out in the front, which is another rarity in this price segment.
Under the hood, the Moto G22 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G37, which is one of the most powerful chipsets available in this price segment. Motorola says that it has optimized the chipset further to give a boost to the smartphone’s performance. Motorola has also equipped the phone with dedicated slots for dual SIM cards along with a MicroSD card slot.
When it comes to the cameras, the Moto G22 sports a rear quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, it features a 16MP selfie camera. The Motorola Moto G22 is backed by a 5000mAh battery and it comes with a 20W charger adapter in the box. The phone relies on a USB-C port and also brings a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone runs stock Android 12 out of the box.
