Last year, months before Homelander was even revealed, Antony Starr confirmed that he wouldn't be voicing his iconic The Boys character in Mortal Kombat 1.
The community was outraged; many even swore off the DLC because they couldn't imagine Homelander without Starr. But now that we've seen him in action, things have changed, and fans are so happy with his design, the nods to the show, and how he plays, that they don't care anymore.
The trailer opens with Homelander guzzling milk from a bottle, and if you've seen the show, you know he doesn't source it from Tesco. Ferra is suspiciously enthusiastic, jumping up and down with glee, but maybe she doesn't know that.

The voice sounds fine to me and it's only clear when I'm listening to it to nitpick".
The character model looks good and fatalities look great and hopefully, gameplay will be good too. I don't wanna let Antony not voicing him ruin the whole thing for me.
"I'm fine with it," Grand_Toast_Dad added. "As long as whoever's voicing him can make him sound menacing enough, and not be as bad as Arnie's Terminator in MK11."
We don't know when Homelander is coming to the game yet, but for once, it looks like fans are excited to find
