The first image for the new sci-fi rom-com Moonshot has surfaced. Moonshot stars To All the Boys' Lana Condor as a college student who strives to reach Mars. In the film's alternate universe, humanity has terraformed the red planet and populated it with the species' best, including the protagonists' significant others, with whom they desire to reunite.
Christopher Winterbauer (Wyrm) directs Moonshot under Berlanti Productions, the second of their four-feature deal with HBO's popular streaming platform. Max Taxe makes his feature screenwriting debut with the project. Other cast members include Scream's Mason Gooding, Lukas Gage (Euphoria), Emily Rudd (Fear Street trilogy), and Zach Braff (Scrubs). Playing the lead opposite Condor is Riverdale's very own Jughead, Cole Sprouse, who joined Moonshot last spring and whose character assists Condor's in trying to board a shuttle to Mars.
